Junior Academy
Junior Academy offers a unique opportunity to talented and committed young musicians from all backgrounds who want to be inspired and challenged in their music-making.
As a student of Junior Academy, you will find yourself amongst others who share your love of music and for whom Saturday is the most important day of the week.
Scholarships and bursaries are available.
Junior Academy offers Principal Study and Second Study lessons in all of:
Piano | Violin | Viola | Cello | Double Bass | Flute |
Recorder | Oboe | Clarinet | Bassoon | Trumpet | Horn |
Trombone | Tuba | Guitar | Harp | Voice | Classical Accordion
| Percussion | Organ | Composition
Additionally, Second Study lessons are available in jazz piano, saxophone and conducting, subject to demand.
The Junior Jazz course offers a separate provision for experience players on Saturdays, based on jazz ensemble playing.
Programmes are available for students nine years old and under in our Primary Academy.
